Deutsch Capital Announces Investment in MM.LaFleur

White Plains, New York — July 18, 2013 – Deutsch Capital LLC today announced an investment in MM.LaFleur LLC. Established this year, MM.LaFleur is an online clothing company for purposeful women.  Founded by Sarah LaFleur, Miyako Nakamura, and Narie Foster, the brand intends to revolutionize the $10-$15 billion professional women’s apparel industry by selling beautiful-yet-practical, professional clothing.  Ms. LaFleur decided to launch this business after recognizing the unmet need for fashionable professional clothing for working women.  Having relied on family and friends to bring the business to where it is today, the company decided to raise additional capital from outside investors to continue its strong growth.  The terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.

Sarah LaFleur, CEO of MM.LaFleur, commented, “Our company has grown quickly since inception.  We now believe it is time to bring in additional capital from sophisticated investors so that we can continue to execute on our business plan.  We welcome Mark Deutsch and Deutsch Capital as an investor and look forward to working with him.”

Mark Deutsch, President of Deutsch Capital, said, “The women’s apparel business is very competitive, but we believe MM.LaFleur has found a niche that is not being adequately addressed today. Sarah has a vision and the early results are very encouraging.  I am delighted to be a part of the first round of outside investors and expect that Sarah and her team will create a great business that will change the way many professional women shop for clothing.”
