Deutsch Capital Announces Second Investment in MM.LaFleur

White Plains, New York — May 5, 2015 – Deutsch Capital LLC today announced a second investment in MM.LaFleur LLC. Established in 2013, MM.LaFleur is a clothing company designed to be “the one-stop shop for professional women.” Its mission: to take the work out of dressing for work. Founded by Sarah LaFleur, Miyako Nakamura, and Narie Foster, the brand is starting to make inroads in the $15 billion professional women’s apparel industry. Since its initial capital raise in 2013, the company has grown four-fold. Its recent introduction of the “Bento Box” has further added to its growth, and has challenged the traditional retail model and expectations of how busy women prefer to shop. In order to keep up with its rapid expansion, the company is raising additional capital from its investor base. The terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.

Sarah LaFleur, CEO of MM.LaFleur, commented, “Professional women are finding that we truly understand their needs. Our business model works, and the recent introduction of our ‘Bento Box’ has further strengthened our relationships with our customers. To keep up with our growth, we have decided to raise more capital. We are very pleased that Deutsch Capital, one of our original investors, has increased its investment in our company.”

Mark Deutsch, President of Deutsch Capital, said “MM.LaFleur has performed extraordinarily well since our initial investment nearly two years ago. Sarah and her team are changing the way professional women buy their clothes. We are pleased to be able to participate again in this capital raise and have confidence MM.LaFleur will continue to grow significantly in the years ahead.”
